In response to the recent global  COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, we are in active communication with the Raleigh Convention Center to ensure the health and safety of all our staff, guests, volunteers and of course – our attendees. Our teams are actively monitoring CDC reports and are working to ensure the health and safety of our community by following the public health guidelines for both federal and state policies, as well as the guidance of global health authorities.

At this time, Animazement is still scheduled to take place in late May. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will reassess both the convention and refunds as the days progress. The directors are in daily communication with each other and will continue to examine the situation.

A couple of reminders on how to protect yourself and others around you:

• Remember to wash your hands thoroughly under water – this is the best and most effective preventative measure.  Hand sanitizers are not as effective as hand washing, but still better than not washing at all!
• Keep your hands off your face- pathogens can enter our bodies through our eyes, nose and mouth.
• If you are sick – stay home if you are able, as to not spread it to others.
