Toshi has spent more than half his life reading comic books and watching cartoons for a living. His time in the industry has finally reached the span of three decades. He has worked on an anime magazine called ANIMAG, spent 12 years producing anime at Viz Media, and two years as a producer at Bandai Entertainment. Of course, he’s also been translating manga along the while.
Toshi’s credits include producing the English-language versions of “Ranma ½,” “Inuyasha,” and “Gurren Lagann,” as well as manga translations for Dark Horse Comics’ “Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service.” He is currently the Animation Localization Manager for The Pokémon Company International overseeing the production of Pokémon TV Series, Movies, and specials into English and 18+ languages across Europe and Latin America. He is very excited to bring the new series, Pokémon Horizons, to the English-speaking fans very soon.
Toshi has been coming to Animazement off and on since 1999 and is happy to be back at the convention after the world having been closed. He is looking forward to hanging out again with everyone this year.
