Noriko Hidaka was born on May 31 in Tokyo. Hidaka has been interested in acting since she was young. She debuted as a singer in 1980 and as a voice actress in “Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross” in 1984. Her roles include Satsuki Kusakabe from My Neighbor Totoro, Akane Tendo from Ranma ½, Noriko Takaya from Gunbuster, Kikyo from Inuyasha, Masumi Sera from Case Closed, Dominator from Psycho-Pass, Yuki Tsukumo from Jujutsu Kaisen and more. In 2020, she released the album, “Noriko Hidaka All Time Best ~40 Dramatic Songs~,” celebrating her 40th anniversary as a singer. In 2022, she published a book titled, “My Vocation is Voice Actress.” Hidaka also continues to work as a narrator, singer, actress, and more. In 2024, she celebrates her 40th anniversary as a voice actress!
