Katsuji Mori, a veteran Japanese voice actor, started his career at 10 years old, when he joined the Children’s Theater Company’s Kojika, as well as performing on radio shows and NHK historical dramas. From 1970 to 1980, his roles were predominantly heroes and “handsome guys” such as Go Mifune from the classic Speed Racer, Ken the Eagle from Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, 009 from Cyborg 009, Garma Zabi from Mobile Suit Gundam, and Nephrite from Sailor Moon. And although he never thought he would be performing the main character for an anime in his 60’s, Mori took the role of Masamichi Haru from Real Drive - a character seen at both young and old ages. Currently, Mori dubs for live action movies such as Ben Burns from Speed Racer. In addition to animation, he dubs foreign movies and narrations, and “challenging reading”, which gained popularity in Galactic Heroes Legend. Mori’s hobby is traveling.
